Your highly skilled rehabilitation team will work with you and your significant others to develop a treatment plan focused on your recovery goals.
At Carondelet St. Mary’s Hospitals, we provide comprehensive rehabilitation services for:
- Brain injury

- Spinal Cord Dysfunction

- Severe or advanced arthritis
- Neurological disorders (Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and others)
- Major multiple trauma
- Cardiac and Pulmonary conditions
- Weakness from recent, prolonged hospitalization
- Post-surgical complications
- Congenital deformities
- Other qualifying diagnosis
Our program features:
- Board certified rehabilitation physicians as Medical Directors
- 1:1 visits with your rehabilitation doctor three times per week
- Intensive therapy (at least 15 hrs to 3 hours 5 of 7 days)
- Certified Rehabilitation Nurses (CRRN)
- Therapists with advanced training and certifications in Neurological, Orthopedic and Amputee Rehabilitation
- Family and caregiver training to assure a safe transition to home
- Outdoor healing spaces and real-life community training
- Psychological services and pastoral care to help you cope with lifestyle changes or spiritual needs
- Easy access to a variety of specialty medical services within the hospital
- Wound Care, Dialysis and Nutritional Services

Carondelet Rehabilitation has been serving the Tucson and southern Arizona communities since 1965 – St. Mary’s was the first inpatient rehabilitation program in Tucson. Our programs have achieved Disease-Specific Stroke Rehabilitation Certification by The Joint Commission.
